How To Get Awesome Free Photos

For me, a big part of creating great content is having great photos.  So today, I’m sharing three of my favourite websites for awesome, free images.  I personally use all of these and will be listing them from most used to least used.

All three websites allow you to use their images completely free and you don’t need to create an account to download them, which is a huge plus for me.  That said, I recently created accounts with Pexels and Unsplash just to keep track of the images I’ve used so far.

1. Pexels

I love this website.  They have so many clean, bright, and beautiful images.  Honestly, credit to Pexels for probably half of the photos I use.

2. Unsplash

Unsplash is a website I was introduced to through another blogger.  I haven’t used many of their images on my blog yet but I love the more creative, editorial-style photos they offer.

3. Pixabay

Pixabay is another great place to find free images.  I don’t find the variety as large as the other two though so, I don’t often use it as often but it’s still worth checking out.

All of these websites mention that credit isn’t required but it’s always appreciated when possible.

I hope this post helps all my blogging friends out!  If you have any favourite websites for awesome free images, please share them with all of us in the comments below!

Many Blessings, Grace. Xx

  5. I love – Unsplash.com – It’s a great resource for anyone who enjoys pairing creative writings with photos. I use it all the time, and I credit the photographers on each one of the photos that I post. It gives them more exposure when both their names and images are available to the public on sites like this one. When visiting their site, one can look up the name of the photographer, and find more of the beautiful art that they graciously share. It’s fantastic! ✨

  13. Thanks for sharing these. I’ve most used Wikimedia and pxhere for my blog’s pictures, but I have used Pexels on a few occasions. I’m bookmarking all three of these for future reference. I sometimes spend more time trying to find good pictures than I do writing and editing my posts, so I appreciate every little bit of help I can get finding good pictures.
