Coffee Chat: Life Lately, Baking, Milestones & Little Memories

Hey friends,

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a coffee chat… but I think it’s time again!

As much as I love my deeper, more meaningful posts… sometimes I need a break from writing carefully curated posts as it can get a bit mentally exhausting.

Lately, I’ve been pouring quite a bit of energy into my baking content on Instagram as well as my little baking business here in Perth. I’ve been posting more reels of me creating cakes which has helped grow my Instagram account to 2,000 followers over the past few months… which is kinda crazy.

In between all that, life has been very full. There have been some really sweet moments over the past few months. So here’s just a few…

  • Two of my grandparents turned 80.
  • We celebrated my sister’s (very belated) 21st birthday.
  • I was invited to the I Swear movie premiere.

And there have been so many other big and little life updates lately… but I think I’ll leave it at that for now.

Anyways, I just wanted to come on here and say hi again! I’m still here… and I’d really love to hear from you.

How have you been? What’s been a highlight (or even a lowlight) of yours, from the last couple of months?

Many blessings, Grace. Xx

  1. Congrats on your owning your own bakery! I used to decorate cakes, and it was a fun job.

  2. Glad things are going well for you. I know you family and friends are proud of, not just for accomplishing but also for believing in your dreams and goals and working hard to see them realized. Best wishes for your grandparents that just turned 80. I am in my early 70s and can tell you that life when you get older isn’t necessary easier. But at the same time it is sweeter because when you look back in time you see how God was ever-present in all of your life.

  3. Thanks once again for all you support on our website.

  4. Beautiful photo and lovely to hear about life Grace.
I’ve had a couple of life changing months, moving to a small bungalow in sheltered housing, which has transformed my life immensely. I now have a small garden, no stairs and lovely neighbours. Whereas for ten years I lived in a first floor flat with very steep stairs, no garden and a horrible neighbour. I was mostly confined indoors due to my health condition.
My family have been wonderful and I feel as if I am now my old self, just older and wiser. I’ve had a break from writing, too much to sort out with the move.

  5. Love the updates!
I think you captured it well, I love wtiting the deeper posts, but enjoy and find it a good break to switch it up just as much. ~ Rosie
